WR Kwamie Lassiter II
Kwamie Lassiter is an exciting addition to this Showboats WR core. He’s a guy who brings some NFL experience to the table, after an excellent college career at Kansas.
As a Jayhawk, Lassiter worked his way into a starting role during the final couple years of his time there. Lassiter posted 1,550 yards and seven touchdowns, with 653 of those yards coming in his senior campaign in 2021.

This led to an NFL opportunity with the Cincinnati Bengals. Kwamie signed as an UDFA in 2022, and remained with the Bengals on and off of their practice squad for the majority of the last couple of years. He was active in one game with the Bengals in 2023, catching a pass for two yards.

In the preseason, Kwamie has seen some success as well, with 28 receptions for 224 yards. He was cut by the Bengals at the end of this past preseason, and now makes his way to the UFL with the Showboats.
OG Jerome Carvin
Jerome Carvin is a fascinating pickup for Memphis and their offensive line. Carvin was a USFL College Draft pick by the Showboats – from two coaching staffs ago – when Todd Haley and Dave Razzano were still in charge.
