Nebraska wide receiver enters the transfer portal

Nebraska football wide receiver Dae’vonn Hall announced he was entering the transfer portal on Friday. He announced his decision on X.

Hall was a member of the 2023 recruiting class. He joined the class alongside high school teammates Daniel Kaelin and Isaiah McMorris. According to multiple recruiting services, he was the second overall player in his class from the state of Nebraska. The receiver played no games for the Huskers during his time in Lincoln.

Hall’s transfer is the latest in a roster reshuffling over the past couple of days. Running back Emmett Johnson was the most recent transfer before this. Kaelin entered the transfer portal on Wednesday.

Nebraska football is loading up the wide receiver room, as wide receivers Cortez Mills and Isaiah Mozee officially signed the dotted line on Wednesday. On top of this, it was announced wide receivers coach Garret McGuire was leaving the program for a position with the Texas Tech Red Raiders. McGuire initially recruited Hall to the program.

Even with recent changes, the receiver room is a source of strength for the Huskers. It will be interesting to see if they add any others via the transfer portal.
