Jay Valai and Brandon Hall brought in five players on Wednesday. OU’s secondary was the weak point defensively in 2024, but there’s reason for optimism with this class. The Sooners added three cornerbacks in Maliek Hawkins, Trystan Haynes, and Courtland Guillory.
On Maliek Hawkins, our Bryant Crews had this to say.
Maliek Hawkins is the younger brother of Michael Hawkins Jr. and the son of former Sooner Mike Hawkins.
