The Kansas Chiefs had to start this season without defensive end Charles Omenihu, who was recovering from a knee injury that he sustained in the playoffs earlier this year.
Last week he made his successful comeback participating in the Chiefs’ victory over the Las Vegas Raiders.

Charles Omenihu injury update
After suffering a torn ACL in January, Omenihu took a significant amount of time off to heal.
He returned to practice with the Chiefs after the first half of this season and while he is still listed on the injury report he is cleared to play.
How long will Charles Omenihu be out?
Omenihu is expected to play today against the Chargers and help the Chiefs put a stop to Los Angeles’ outstanding air attack led by quarterback Justin Herbert.

Should Omenihu need to leave Sunday’a game, George Karlaftis, Mike Danna, Felix Anudike-Ozomah, Joshua Uche, and Malik Herring will be available to take his place.
