Bucs QB poised to set a career high in passing touchdowns in Week 15

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were unsure what to do when they lost Tom Brady to retirement in 2022. They found a replacement for former number-one overall pick Baker Mayfield, and he is now poised to show how much this place has helped him in his career.

Baker Mayfield tied a career-high in passing touchdowns on Sunday, and he is now poised to break that record in Week 15.

The three touchdown passes that Mayfield threw on Sunday, two to Jalen McMillan and one to Rachaad White, brought his total to 28 on the year. That total is a tie for a career-high, matching his total from last season with the Bucs.

For what it is worth, Mayfield is on pace for 36 passing touchdowns, which would be good enough for the third most in a season all-time in Bucs history. Tom Brady will hold the record for a while as it sits with him and his 43-passing touchdown season in 2021.
