NFL Week 14 shakes up the top of the 2025 NFL Draft order

NFL Week 14 shakes up the top of the 2025 NFL Draft order

Week 14 in the NFL was an eventful one at both ends of the spectrum. Several games featured playoff-like atmospheres and helped flesh out more of the postseason picture with four weeks to play.

There were also some unsavory games that shook up the race for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. The Jacksonville Jaguars won their way out of the top spot after sitting in the No. 1 slot for weeks. Jacksonville scored the final 10 points in a 10-6 yawnfest victory against the AFC South rival Tennessee Titans.

With that win, Jacksonville plummets from the No. 1 pick to No. 5 overall. Fresh into the top slot after Week 14: Las Vegas. The Raiders, losers of nine games in a row, take their 2-11 record into the final four weeks in control of their own destiny for the top spot.

The 2-11 Raiders edge out the New York Giants, losers of eight in a row, based on the strength of schedule tiebreaker. They are now the only two teams that have fewer than three wins.

The Jaguars joined a cluster of six teams with 3-10 records, a group that also includes the Titans.

Monday night’s duel between the 4-8 Bengals and 5-7 Cowboys will be meaningful at sorting out the next tier. Cincinnati currently holds the No. 10 pick, with Dallas close behind at No. 12. They sandwich the 5-8 Saints, who managed to eke past the Giants on Sunday.

Current top 10, entering Monday Night Football in Week 14:

1. Raiders (2-11)
2. Giants (2-11)
3. Patriots (3-10)
4. Panthers (3-10)
5. Jaguars (3-10)
6. Titans (3-10)
7. Jets (3-10)
8. Browns (3-10)
9. Bears (4-9)
10. Bengals (4-8)

Those are the only teams with any realistic chance of earning the top pick. Every other team has won at least five games. Mercifully, Week 14 represented the end of all bye weeks, meaning all teams have now played the same amount of games.
