Week 14 was another busy outing for UFL to NFL athletes. It’s been an encouraging season of action not just for the NFL, but for the UFL, as they’ve watched their players star on football’s biggest stage.
K Jake Bates, Lions: Jake Bates once again hit a game winner in Detroit. It’s something we’ve become accustomed to seeing from Bates, and he did it once again. Jake was 2/2 on field goal attempts, including the game winner over Green Bay as time expired. He also made all four XP’s, scoring 10 points on the day.

DT Jalen Redmond, Vikings: Redmond has been a consistent force for the Vikings on the interior. After getting back on the active roster, Jalen has been making his mark defensively – posting four tackles and two TFL’s in the win this Sunday. The former Renegades standout has been tremendous in Minnesota during his first true NFL minutes.
I’ve noted the relative old age of the Vikings’ defense, and the difficulty young players have had in getting on the field. So let’s note that first-year DL Jalen Redmond (No. 61) made his first start Sunday, played 53% of the snaps, had 2 TFL and batted down 2 passes. pic.twitter.com/hsB1sPXurT

DT LaBryan Ray, Panthers: Ray has had a solid year with Carolina, seeing important minutes on the D-Line for a team still trying to find their identity. LaBryan had four tackles for Carolina this weekend, just one shy of his single game career high.
WR KaVontae Turpin, Cowboys: Turpin didn’t have a massive day in Dallas, but once again showcased his versatility. KaVontae had two carries for 15 yards, a reception for 16 yards, and a punt return for 20 yards in the Cowboys’ loss on Monday night.
Some other noteworthy performances include Packers’ punter Daniel Whelan (formerly in DC), with three punts for 125 yards….
