The New York Jets will turn to one of the final few days of their 2024 NFL season.
Following their loss to the Miami Dolphins, the Jets (3-10) will visit the Jacksonville Jaguars at EverBank Stadium.
But before we even get to kickoff, there will be a lot of Jets-related discussions and conversations to be had throughout the coming days.

Both locker rooms will not be looking at the 2025 NFL draft order before this game. But let’s face it, fans will be discussing how this is going to be an outcome that has a say in next year’s draft order.
QB down

The Jets defense will face a familiar quarterback on Sunday. Former New England Patriots QB Mac Jones is now in Jacksonville. He’s going to start because starting QB Trevor Lawrence (concussion) is on season-ending injured reserve.
Naturally, any change in quarterback is a talking point in the NFL.
Injury battle continues

In terms of the Jets’ injury report, there are top names to watch in the coming days. Last week, the likes of offensive lineman Alijah Vera-Tucker (ankle) running back Breece Hall (knee) and cornerback Sauce Gardner (hamstring) did not play in Miami.
Of that trio, Gardner is likely to play according to interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich. The other duo on offense are still up in the air.

A big issue against the Dolphins was a lack of a pass rush. Miami quarterback Tua Tagovailoa had 47 passing attempts and New York did not record a single QB hit. The likes of pass rushers Will McDonald IV, Haason Reddick and others need to be better for the Jets.
