The winners and losers section from Monday night could have gone in several directions for the now 5-8 Dallas Cowboys.Their 27-20 loss against Cincinnati crushed their already minuscule playoff hopes, but there were standout performances in the defeat. Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb was an obvious winner after catching six passes for 93 yards and a touchdown, but then the rest of the receivers disappeared, catching only two passes for 19 yards as a group.
Cowboys linebacker DeMarvion Overshown lost on Monday Night in the worst conceivable way, suffering what is being called a serious knee injury for the second time in his young career. Dallas had an opportunity to get within striking distance of the NFL playoffs, but instead reminding everyone of all the themes from a lost season.
