The No. 2 seeded Georgia Bulldogs are projected to be underdogs in one of their two possible matchups in the Sugar Bowl.
The Sugar Bowl will played in New Orleans, Louisiana, on Jan. 1 at 8:45 p.m. ET. Georgia will play the winner of the No. 7 Notre Dame-No. 10 Indiana first-round game in the College Football Playoff quarterfinals. Notre Dame and Indiana play on Friday, Dec. 20 at 8:00 p.m. ET.

Georgia quarterback Carson Beck’s health greatly impacts UGA’s betting odds. Beck, who left the SEC championship with an elbow injury, is unlikely to play in the Sugar Bowl. Georgia will start Gunner Stockton if Beck is unable to play. Stockton has not made a start in his career for UGA, but stepped up in the second half of the SEC championship.
