Michael Vick is a Virginia legend, and although the former Eagles star has a cushy job at Fox Sports, he could be looking to join the collegiate coaching ranks.
We previously reported that Vick had interviewed for the head football position at Norfolk State. The interview came after Norfolk State dismissed former head coach Dawson Odums on Nov. 26.
Odums’ teams compiled a 15-31 record during his four years and finished with a losing mark in each of his final three seasons.

Sacramento State has unveiled plans for a new football venue with visions of jumping to the higher-level FBS and into the revamped Pac-12 by its 2028 completion.
Sacramento State, plagued by a massive number of player injuries, finished 3-9 overall and on a five-game losing streak. In the Big Sky Conference, the Hornets tied with Northern Colorado for the worst record this season, with a 1-7 record.
Vick, a Newport News native and star at Virginia Tech, has no formal coaching experience. He was a training camp intern with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Vick played 13 seasons for four teams, including the Falcons and Eagles. He threw for 22,464 yards and 133 touchdowns. He was selected to play in 4 Pro Bowls and won one Comeback Player of the Year award.
