The Chargers tackle duo continues atop the AFC leaderboard as Pro Bowl voting is coming to a close.
The NFL released another voting update (not including X/Twitter votes) for the 2025 Pro Bowl Games on Friday with three days left to both, as both Joe Alt and Rashawn Slater remain in the top 10 overall.
Alt continues to be No. 1 among tackles in the AFC, a spot he has held since the first release, and seventh overall in the voting.
Slater, on the other hand, remains at No. 9 overall and third in the AFC.
It’s for good reason too, as the duo have been among the best in the AFC in their first year together.
Alt, the Chargers first-round pick, has been stellar so far in his rookie season, with no shortage of high-level opposition on the other side. Alt ranks first among all rookie tackles in Pro Football Focus offense grade (78.5), run blocking (75.6) and leads all rookie offensive lineman in pass blocking grade (77.2).
He’s also only allowed 19 total pressures on 515 pass blocking snaps and has continued to not allow more than two pressures in a game in 13 of his 14 games.
Slater, meanwhile, is continuing one his best seasons as a pro.
The fourth-year tackle is first among all AFC offensive lineman in PFF’s pass blocking grade with a 90.1 and second among AFC tackles with at least 400 snaps with a 91.1 offense grade, both of which would be career-highs for a season.
He’s also allowed just 20 total pressures on 504 pass blocking snaps and is currently on pace to have a career low for a season.
