Notre Dame -7; winner plays No. 2 Georgia in Sugar Bowl

Brad: This is going to be much closer than people might think based on team-name scouting. Indiana will be able to stop the run and move the ball on offense, but Notre Dame’s athletes will win out in the end on a late-game field goal.

Charlie: The Fighting Irish can’t let Indiana dictate the game. If the Hoosiers have control early, Notre Dame likely gets down early as they get its running game going. It might not look terrific for the Irish in the first quarter, but that is what happens with run heavy offenses. It might take a quarter or two to get going. I like Notre Dame defensive line to make it tough for Indiana later in the game forcing some field goals and shorter drives. The Irish pull it out in a close one.

Kevin: I would love to see Indiana come out of South Bend with the ultimate signature win against Notre Dame, but I think what we end up seeing will be similar to what we saw when Indiana visited Ohio State. Indiana has had a terrific season, but the depth of Notre Dame will be too much to overcome for the Hoosier.

Shayne: I could see Indiana pulling off the upset here, but their performance against Ohio State is hard to dismiss. It will take a monumental effort from their run defense against Notre Dames rushing attack to have a chance.
