Body Control

Jayden Higgins demonstrates excellent body control at various times through the reps he has on film. He shows it by going for contested catches, working the sideline, and working the red zone when the field gives him less to work with. His body control makes him an excellent wide receiver prospect and should be considered one of his principal traits.

Size/Strength

Higgins plays with the size you want for a wide receiver, and his play style is where he isn’t afraid to get physical. To back it up, he has the strength to break through initial contact and keep off-arm tackles. Together, Higgins can use this trait to win on Day One in the NFL.

Ball Tracking

Higgins really impressed me with his ability to track the ball when targeted downfield. He also demonstrates good ball-tacking skills while working outside and along the sideline. The cherry on top of it all is that he tracks it well when tasked with blocking, being aware enough to block properly so that he is an asset instead of a liability in the offense overall.
