In Week 17 the Kansas City Chiefs will face off against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Christmas Day in a highly anticipated matchup between top AFC playoff contenders.
Both teams will be operating on short rest, having played just four days prior on Saturday, December 21. Kansas City won its Week 16 matchup against the Houston Texans, while the Steelers fell to the Baltimore Ravens, and saw their regular season record drop to 10-5.
Due to the shortened schedule, the team held practice this afternoon. Once practice concluded, the Chiefs released their first injury report for Week 17.
Though Kansas City had a relatively short list of players who were dealing with injuries in Week 16, their initial report on Monday was full of new developments that could affect the Chiefs’ performance against Pittsburgh.

Chamarri Conner injury report

Conner is in concussion protocol and did not practice on Monday.
D.J. Humphries injury report

Humphries is dealing with a hamstring injury and did not practice on Monday.
Chris Jones injury report
