Week 17 of the 2024 NFL season is set to begin on Wednesday afternoon, and the Baltimore Ravens have departed for a critical and exciting Christmas Day matchup against the Houston Texans on Netflix.
Baltimore is 10-5, and Lamar Jackson is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. One of the actual measuring sticks of his efficiency will be where he lands in Total QBR when entering the playoffs.
When evaluating quarterback play, a trusted metric is ESPN’s Total QBR rating, which does more than take into account statistics.
According to ESPN, Adjusted Total Quarterback Rating (QBR) “values the quarterback on all play types on a 0-100 scale adjusted for the strength of opposing defenses.”
So where do Jackson and other NFL quarterbacks, including the Bengals’ Joe Burrow, Cardinals’ Kyler Murray, Eagles’ Jalen Hurts, 49ers’ Brock Purdy, Bills’ Josh Allen, and Chiefs Patrick Mahomes, rank entering Week 16 of the 2024 NFL season?
Here’s a look at the QBR ratings for all 33 NFL quarterbacks ahead of the Chiefs (14-1) at Steelers (10-5).
