Cleveland stumbles to the bottom with two weeks left

Browns

The Cleveland Browns fell to 3-12 after losing to the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. The Browns put on a miserable performance scoring only one touchdown in the game. The Browns have cemented their status as one of the worst teams in the league.

The Browns have two games left to end their season. The organization will spend the time evaluating their younger players for next year. The only ranking they can go up in is the draft order. The Browns have an outside shot at the first pick.

Quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson should play enough snaps to qualify for most quarterback metrics by the end of the season. The Browns should have enough data to analyze how all three quarterbacks played to decide which path to choose going forward. The Browns would be smart to re-sign Jameis Winston and run back the Stefanski system.

The defense will have to do some soul-searching after the unit went from the best in the league to one of the worst in a year. Next year the team must have answers on the defensive side of the field.

This week’s Data Dump does not include the Week 17 games.
