*In his fourth start for the Giants, quarterback Drew Lock completed 17 of 23 passes for 309 yards, four touchdowns, no interceptions and a career-high passer rating of 155.3. Lock also scored on a 5-yard run. The four touchdown passes β two to Malik Nabers and one each to Wan’Dale Robinson and Darius Slayton – tied his career high, set on Dec. 13, 2020, for Denver at Carolina. That was also when he posted his previous best rating, 149.5.
*Lock’s 155.3 rating was the highest by a Giants quarterback with at least 15 attempts since Nov. 18, 2018, when Eli Manning had a rating of 155.8 in a 38-35 victory against Tampa Bay. Manning completed 17 of 18 passes in that game.
*In the first half, Lock completed seven of eight passes for 153 yards and three touchdowns for a perfect rating of 158.3 β the first by a Giants quarterback in a first half since Manning on Oct. 11, 2009, against the Raiders.
*Lock is the first Giants quarterback with four touchdown passes since Daniel Jones threw four in Washington on Dec. 22, 2019. The last Giants quarterback to throw for four scores and run for a touchdown was Manning on Sept. 25, 2014, also at Washington. The previous NFL quarterback to achieve the four-and-one feat was Dallas’ Dak Prescott on Nov. 12, 2023, against β¦ the Giants.
*Lock posted the first 300-yard passing game by a Giants quarterback since Dec. 31, 2023, when Tyrod Taylor threw for 319 yards against the Rams. Indianapolis quarterback Joe Flacco threw for 330 yards Sunday, making it the first Giants game in which both starting quarterbacks threw for 300+ yards since the one-point loss to Los Angeles a year ago, when Matthew Stafford passed for 317 yards.
*Nabers led the Giants with seven receptions for a career-high 171 yards, including his touchdowns of 31 and 59 yards. He increased his season total to 104 receptions, the second-highest total in Giants history. Nabers passed Odell Beckham, Jr., who caught 101 passes in 2016. He trails only Steve Smith, who had 107 receptions in 2009.
*Nabers is four shy of the new NFL rookie record of 108 catches, set by Las Vegas tight end Brock Bowers, who also had seven catches while playing in the early afternoon time slot on Sunday, when the Raiders won in New Orleans.
*Nabers is tied with Miami’s Jaylen Waddle (104 catches in 2021) for the third-highest rookie receptions total in history, behind Bowers and the Rams’ Puka Nacua, who had 105 catches for the Rams…
