Nebraska Cornhusker football projected to land Elijah Pritchett

Nebraska football received a prediction for Alabama Crimson Tide offensive tackle Elijah Pritchett. The prediction was made by On3’s Pete NakosBryan Munson, Steve Wiltfong and Sean Callahan on Monday evening. He has two years of eligibility remaining.

Pritchett ended up choosing Alabama over the likes of Florida State, Georgia, and USC. On the Nebraska front, he was in Lincoln on Monday.

Pritchett would certainly fill a need for Nebraska at the tackle spot. Bryce Benhart is no longer with the program. This leaves Nebraska without a proven starter at the tackle spot, and a big hole to fill.

Pritchett would undoubtedly be able to fill the void there. He played in all 12 games last season, including 10 starts at right tackle and one at left tackle in 2024. Experience is certainly something that works to his advantage, and the Huskers would get a player that could start right away.

Recruiting is fluid, and things can change in an instant. Nevertheless, Nebraska has to feel good about where they sit with him here. It will be interesting to see when Pritchett’s commitment will come, as Nebraska continues to make waves in the transfer portal.
