Panthers meet with 2 big WRs at Hula Bowl, says reports

It’s beginning to look a lot like draft season.

This year’s Hula Bowl is set to go down out of Orlando, Fla. on Saturday. 120 of college football’s top seniors will hit the field at FBC Mortgage Stadium for an all-star matchup to showcase their talents in front of NFL, UFL and CFL teams.

Among those (NFL) teams are the Carolina Panthers—who, according to Ryan Fowler of The Draft Network—have met with a pair of wideouts. Fowler reported this week that the organization has chatted with University of Memphis’ Roc Taylor and Virginia Tech’s Ali Jennings.

Taylor has been the leading receiver for the Tigers in each of the past two seasons. He amassed 2,033 yards and six touchdowns over 135 catches (15.1 yards per reception) in 2023 and 2024.

Jennings has split his collegiate career between three programs—West Virginia (2019 to 2020), Old Dominion (2021 to 2022) and Virginia Tech (2023 to 2024). He appeared in 12 games for the Hokies this past year, amassing 373 yards and five touchdowns on just 15 grabs (24.9 yards per reception).
