Big news out of Athens Georgia. According to football reporter Pete Nakos, Georgia quarterback Carson Beck has decided to enter the transfer portal meaning he will not be declaring for the 2025 NFL draft after all.
This move makes a lot of sense for Beck. After suffering a serious injury at the end of the season, his ability to prep for the draft and boost his draft stock after an inconsistent season would be an uphill climb.
In addition, the Bulldogs have Gunner Stockton in the quarterback room which would have created a real problem for Beck if h found himself in a quarterback battle next season.

Beck came into the 2024 college football season as one of the top three quarterback prospects but at this point looks more like a late second, early third-round pick so if he can land at the right school and get healthy he has a shot to work his way back into the first-round mix.
