The Nebraska Cornhuskers have remained active in the transfer portal this offseason. The team has added 16 players since the transfer portal opened.
Recruiting service On3 has named the Huskers one of ten teams in college football that addressed transfer portal needs this offseason. They have named the addition of Elijah Pritchett as the key acquisition of the offseason.
Five of the incoming transfers play on the offensive side of the ball, nine players will play for the Blackshirts, and two of the new additions will play for the special teams unit.
Head coach Matt Rhule has said that the program could see 35-50 players depart this offseason. The new 105-man roster limit has been cited as the biggest factor in the mass departures from the team.
