25 players set to hit the open market in 2025

25 players set to hit the open market in 2025

C.J. Stroud, Nico Collins, Will Anderson Jr. and Derek Stngley Jr. are going anywhere this offseason.

Neither is Azeez Al-Shaair, Danielle Hunter, Laremy Tunsil, Kamari Lassiter and Joe Mixon.

There’s a few other names who are guaranteed to be back next season for the Houston Texans, but at least 25 players are set to hit the market come March.

With the Texans falling short in the AFC Divisional Round to Kansas City, the offseason is officially underway. As lockers were cleaned out on Monday, there was a sense that some would be leaving NRG Stadium for the final time.

DeMeco Ryans has set a culture over the past two years. Players can either buy into the S.W.A.R.M. mentality or suit up elsewhere for the remainder of their careers.

Diontae Johnson, who was looking for a third-second chance with the AFC South champions, learned that the hard way.

“It’s a good year, but not good enough in my mind,” Ryans said. “For me, it’s how do we take the organization to new heights. So I’m looking to all areas to improve our football team.”

Pro Bowl wide receiver Stefon Diggs headlines the list of free agents leaving, but he’s not the only one. Here’s every Texans player set to hit the open market this offseaosn.
