The Nebraska football team continues to reach out to athletes during the 2025 off-season. Linebacker Jakore Smith finished his junior season at Parkview Magnet High School, where he helped the Patriots to their third consecutive state title.
The Little Rock, Arkansas native is listed at 6-feet-1 and 195 pounds. In the fall of 2025, he will enter his third season on the varsity level. Smith is known for his speed on the second level, recording a 4.43 40-yard dash.
Nebraska is one of many schools that have extended an offer to Smith, including the Alabama Crimson Tide, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Oklahoma Sooners, Michigan Wolverines, and Arkansas Razorbacks.
