Nebraska football will host class of 2026 offensive tackle Claude Mpouma for Junior Day on February 1. Rivals.com’s Tim Verghese reported this.
He is the 19th overall offensive tackle in the 2026 class and the sixth overall player in the state of Illinois, per the 247Sports composite rankings.
Mpouma measures in at 6-feet-7, 308 pounds. He has 22 offers, as Miami, Auburn, Notre Dame, Syracuse, and Wisconsin. On the Nebraska front, he was offered by the program on October 3.
Mpouma has a bit of an interesting story. His junior season was the first time he ever played American football, according to his 247Sports profile. Now, that decision is beginning to pay off, as he is seeing his stock rise.
The Huskers are going to have competition for Mpouma. They certainly could use his talent as they continue to search for depth on the offensive line.
