Former Tiger Ajou Ajou is heading from the CFL to the NFL

Ajou Ajou, once a Clemson Tiger, is heading to the NFL after a stint in the CFL. The Indianapolis Colts announced Friday that they’ve signed him to a reserve/future contract.

Ajou showcased his talent in the 2024 season with the Saskatchewan Roughriders, recording 20 catches for 307 yards and two touchdowns across 12 games. The Roughriders had picked him in the seventh round of the 2024 CFL Draft.

Before turning pro, Ajou’s college career included time at Clemson (2020-21), South Florida (2022), and Garden City Community College (2023). At Clemson, the Canadian-born receiver played in 22 games, tallying eight receptions for 114 yards and one score.

Ajou was Clemson’s first football recruit from Canada, excelling in high school football, basketball, and track before his collegiate journey. Now, he’s set to take the next step with Indianapolis, aiming to make his mark in the NFL.
