Williams is a former defensive back out of Boise State who switched to running back under former head coach Arthur Smith. While he didn’t record a single carry this season, Williams was a key special teams contributor. He finished as the team’s leading kick returner, averaging 27.2 yards per return on 15 attempts (408 yards). Nobody is confusing Williams with Devin Hester, but he’s a tough player who likely wouldn’t cost much to re-sign in 2025.
