NFL Network and Good Morning Football analyst Peter Schrager gave his opinion of the New York Jets’ hiring of Aaron Glenn.
Like most other national pundits, Schrager had a positive reaction to New York’s newest head coach, noting that Glenn’s experience in New York and around the NFL will help him succeed in the role.
Glenn was a first round draft pick by the Jets in 1994. He played in over 200 games over his 15-year career as a defensive back. Not just that, but he has a decade’s worth of experience in coaching. More than 30 years later, the 52-year old now returns as head honcho.
“He is a former pro bowl player who knows what that jersey feels like and knows what being in that building feels like,” Schrager says. “I think that matters.”
