SAINTS GUARDS AND CENTERS 2024 SEASON ANALYSIS:
The New Orleans Saints’ opening-game starters at left guard (Lucas Patrick), center (Erik McCoy) and right guard (Cesar Ruiz) started 11, seven and 13 games in 2024, respectively, and started six games together. New Orleans also had Nick Saldiveri and Oli Udoh make starts at left guard, Shane Lemieux and Connor McGovern start games at center and Landon Young started at both guard spots.
BEST GAME FOR SAINTS GUARDS AND CENTERS’ 2024 SEASON:
Two games stand out in which the interior offensive line was good in run and pass. Against Dallas on Sept. 15, New Orleans ran for 190 yards and four touchdowns on 39 carries and only one sack (for minus-1 yard) was allowed while Derek Carr threw for 242 yards and two scores; and against Cleveland on Nov. 17, the Saints ran for 214 yards and three touchdowns on 29 carries and New Orleans passed for 259 yards and two touchdowns, with one sack.
