Cleveland Huddle
The club will revive the “Cleveland Huddle” program, for the fifth year in a row, which was created to champion Black-owned restaurants in Cleveland. The program gives Browns fans, staff, coaches and players a chance to further support the restaurants the team highlights during the month. Each of the four restaurants selected (CMB Soul Food; Sweet Pork Wilsons; The Roaming Biscuit; and The Vegan Doughnut Company) will be onsite at Browns community events throughout the month to distribute meals. In addition, KG’s Homebaked Goodness LLC, will provide a variety of desserts options for Browns staff to enjoy. Since the program’s inception, a positive impact for 15 different businesses in Cleveland has been made. Each business represented will receive a custom jersey.
Cleveland Huddle Pathway
For the second consecutive year, the Browns will host the “Cleveland Huddle Pathway” in conjunction with the team’s Stay in The Game! Attendance Network to inspire future changemakers. High school juniors and seniors from Garfield Heights City Schools will tour CrossCountry Mortgage Campus, participate in a panel moderated by News 5 sports reporter Camryn Justice with Browns’ staff to learn about their professional journeys and insights into current challenges in the industry. To conclude, students will receive lunch from one of the Cleveland Huddle restaurants, Sweet Pork Wilsons.
