If (and that is a big IF) Da Bears improve with a new offensive-minded HC and the new second-year QB the NFC North could be even better this coming season. I don’t believe there is a clear-cut favorite. The Lions are King (get it – “Lion King”) until some other team knocks them off. I certainly hope it is the Packers. Who do you feel is the favorite? GPG.

Detroit is the favorite until another NFC North adversary says otherwise. That said, major questions swirl around both the Lions and Vikings. In Detroit’s case, we’ll see how the team responds to losing several coaches and the disappointment of going one-and-done. Like last year, the Vikings again are an enigma. While Minnesota has cap space, it’s also an aging team with a slew of free agents.

Coach Matt LaFleur has said that they are looking at the content of practice sessions to help the players recover. After six months of intense activities, do the players become mentally exhausted and what is done to help them recover? They can limit practice time, but with social media and other influences, do the players actually rest?

The Packers provide many resources to help players whether it’s physical rehab and recovery or team psychologists. It’s also important what players do away from the facility to recuperate, both physically and mentally. Breaks are important, especially during an increasingly long NFL season.

I don’t know of any (non-Taysom Hill) tight ends doing that. The Bears tried to hand the ball off to an offensive lineman on the goal line and…well, they tried.
