Britton played the majority of his college football at Western Kentucky, making 17 starts at WKU from 2019-2022. He played at both left and right tackle – showcasing his versatility there.
Gunner then transferred to Auburn for his final year of eligibility. Britton had an excellent season; starting in every game and once again moving around between positions. Gunner earned All-SEC Second Team honors (AP) in 2023.

This led to Britton earning an NFL opportunity with the Buffalo Bills. He had an impressive preseason, allowing just two QB pressures on 66 blocking snaps. Gunner was let go during cutdowns, though, and has since remained a free agent.
Now, he makes his way to the UFL – receiving a chance to continue his pro career by GM Von Hutchins. It’s a solid pickup for DC, as this team looks to retool their offensive line for the 2025 season. They’ve already made quite a few signings this offseason, including Darius Harper, Tykeem Doss, Badara Traore, and others.
