New York Jets general manager Darren Mougey is on the board with his first player signed in his new gig.
The Jets have added versatile fullback Andrew Beck to a one-year deal, according to KPRC2-TV:

Prior to taking his position in New York, Mougey spent years with the Denver Broncos. He was most recently their assistant general manager
Beck, 28, has bounced around the NFL. From 2019-22, Beck played 51 games for the Broncos so Mougey clearly knows him.
Beck most recently played for the Houston Texans and Green Bay Packers in 2024 but ended the year early with an injury designation. He also can contribute in New York as a tight end and special teamer.
While not the most-exciting piece, Beck’s addition could be a sign that Mougey will not be shy about signing players he has experience working with.
In his career, Beck has appeared in 70 games with 22 starts. He has caught 25 passes for 214 yards with four total touchdowns.
