Bucs build a pass rush rotation for success

Ohio State Buckeyes defensive end Jack Sawyer (33) sacks Texas Longhorns quarterback Quinn Ewers (3) forcing a fumble during the second half of the Cotton Bowl Classic College Football Playoff semifinal game at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Jan. 10, 2025. Sawyer returned the fumble for a touchdown, and Ohio State won 28-14.

The Bucs have Yaya Diaby, Vita Vea, and Calijah Kancey, who have proven to be reliable during their pass rush. They have others as well who chip in with a handful here and there, but they need someone who can be a monster on the edge. Jack Sawyer could be a ten-sack-a-year player with that rotation around him and it makes it an easy pick for the Bucs here.
