When the Browns signed D’Onta Foreman ahead of the 2024 season, the hope was that he could serve as a steady presence in the backfield alongside Jerome Ford while Nick Chubb recovered from his devastating knee injury.
Instead, Foreman provided little reason for confidence, failing to carve out a meaningful role in the offense even before Chubb’s initial return. His opportunities were sporadic early on, but when given a chance, he looked indecisive and lacked power, both skills desperately needed in our backfield. Unfortunately, when Chubb suffered yet another season-ending injury, Foreman’s expanded role did little to change the narrative.
Given the depth and talent available in this draft, it would be wise for the Browns to consider the abundant crop of prospects available to them in 2025.
