Raiders announce 2025 coaching staff


Carroll: Enters his 31st season in the NFL, most recently spending 14 seasons as the Executive VP and Head Coach of the Seattle Seahawks (2010-23)…Returned to the NFL after spending nine years (2001-09) as head coach at USC…He began his NFL career as defensive backs coach for Buffalo (1984) and Minnesota (1985-89) before becoming the New York Jets defensive coordinator (1990-93) and head coach (1994)…He spent two years as the San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator (1995-96) before becoming the head coach of the New England Patriots (1997-99)…Started his coaching career at the collegiate level, serving as a graduate assistant at his alma mater, Pacific, for three years (1974-76), working with the wide receivers and secondary…He spent one season as a graduate assistant working with the secondary at Arkansas (1977) and had stints as a secondary coach at Iowa State (1978) and Ohio State (1979) before spending three seasons (1980-82) as the defensive coordinator and secondary coach at North Carolina State…He returned to Pacific in 1983 as the assistant head coach and offensive coordinator.

Capurro: Enters his 22nd NFL season and 12th season with the Raiders…He returns to the Silver and Black after 15 seasons with the Seattle Seahawks, including his final three seasons (2022-24) as Vice President of Coaching Operations…Prior to joining the Seahawks, he spent one season with USC (2009) and six seasons with the Oakland Raiders (2003-08)…In 2009 with USC, he served as director of football operations…In his six seasons with the Raiders, he spent five seasons (2004- 08) as assistant to the head coach and his first season (2003) as a coaches assistant…Prior to that, he was a football operations intern for the Raiders for five years (1998-02).

Kelly: Has 34 years of coaching experience with 30 years at the collegiate level and four as an NFL head coach…Most recently spent the 2024 season as the offensive coordinator and…
