Free agency is just a month away which means the Los Angeles Rams have to start deciding which players they’ll bring back in 2025 and which ones will walk. It’s not a star-studded class for the Rams this offseason, unlike in years past, but there are still some key players who are set to hit the market.
At the top of the list is Alaric Jackson, who’s become one of the better left tackles in football. Will the Rams re-sign him and keep the status quo up front? Or will he command a big deal elsewhere?
From Jackson to Conor McDermott, we ranked each of the Rams’ unrestricted free agents from most to least important.

Jackson is unquestionably the Rams’ top free agent this year and ranks as their most important one, too. He’s been their starting left tackle for the last two seasons and has played at a high level each year, getting even better this past season.
If the Rams don’t re-sign Jackson, left tackle immediately becomes their No. 1 need because they don’t have a viable replacement on the roster.

Witherspoon was signed in the middle of September after sitting on the free-agent market all year, marking his second stint with the Rams. It was a good thing Los Angeles brought him back because he wound up being the team’s top cornerback by the end of the season and may have played himself into an extension with the Rams.

Brown may not rack up big numbers when it comes to sacks or pressures, but he’s a solid run-stuffing nose tackle in the middle of the defensive line. He’s gotten better each season and proved his value down the stretch for the Rams during their dominant defensive run late in the year. He should be back at the right price, maintaining continuity on the D-line.

Hoecht is an underrated player for the Rams despite struggling in previous years. Chris Shula didn’t have him drop into coverage as much last season and the results were positive, allowing him to be more of a pass rusher. He had 30 pressures, which ranked fifth on the team, on only 254 pass-rush snaps.
