The situation around the home burglary of Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow continues to evolve.
This week, Hamilton County prosecutor Connie Pillich announced that three Chilean men indicted for the burglary now face felony charges related to engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity and second-degree burglary. They had been previously charged in federal court for transporting stolen goods and falsifying records.
According to investigators, nearly $300,000 worth of items, including jewelry and luggage, were stolen from Burrow’s home on December 9 while the Bengals played a Monday night primetime game.
The Bengals issued the following statement:
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department and their partner agencies at the local, state and federal level did a wonderful job investigating the crime and bringing bad actors to justice. The Cincinnati Bengals would like to thank them for their efforts and extend our sincere appreciation for their good work. We recognize there was a tremendous amount of complex investigative work that led to these indictments, and the Sheriff’s Department was exemplary in this work.
The Bengals have worked with the Sheriff’s Department for decades on many matters, and we know them to be a real source of strength and pride for the community. The Bengals appreciate their good work and will continue to fully support their efforts as the criminal process moves forward.

Investigators first found footage of the men on a trail camera and traced them for several days before their arrest. According to court records, the vehicle the men used had also been spotted in Indiana and Florida around the time of the burglary.
Arrests in New York at a pawn shop raided by the FBI earlier this month were also linked to the burglary of Burrow’s home, as well as the homes of other professional athletes.
