5-round Seahawks 2025 NFL mock draft

Seahawks trade back, land instant starter in 2025 NFL Mock Draft

The NFL Scouting Combine is less than two weeks away. Another critical event in the 2025 NFL draft process is fast approaching. The Seattle Seahawks are equipped with eight total selections, including three (Nos. 18, 50, 82) in the opening 100 picks.

With April’s festivities representing Seattle’s best opportunity to improve the roster, we’ve conducted a brand-new five-round mock draft.

Round 1 (No. 18): Donovan Jackson, IOL, Ohio State

Donovan Jackson would be plug-and-play for the Seahawks at left guard. Jackson moved to left tackle out of necessity during Ohio State’s National Championship run, showcasing terrific versatility. The Buckeyes standout is a pro-ready blocker who would immediately upgrade Mike Macdonald’s struggling offensive line.

Round 2 (No. 50): Jaxson Dart, QB, Ole Miss

The Seahawks grab Geno Smith’s eventual successor in the second round. Jaxson Dart is generating significant buzz in NFL circles. Smith should sign a short-term extension with Seattle this offseason, but his advancing age creates a necessity for a plan-in-waiting. Dart is a mobile QB who can make every throw.

Round 3 (No. 82): Mason Taylor, TE, LSU

Tyler Lockett’s expected departure will create a need for another passing-down option in Klint Kubiak’s offense. Furthermore, veteran tight end Noah Fant is entering a contract year. Mason Taylor is a high-volume and athletic pass catcher who dominated at this year’s Senior Bowl.

Round 4 (No. 137): Jah Joyner, EDGE, Minnesota

The Seahawks prefer to keep the cupboard filled at EDGE and Uchenna Nwosu is expected to be released this offseason. Minnesota’s Jah Joyner is a developmental and highly athletic pass rushing prospect. Joyner wins with first-step quickness and explosiveness.

Round 5 (No. 173): Cody Lindenberg, LB, Minnesota

John Schneider should re-sign Ernest Jones IV, but better off-ball linebacker depth is needed behind him and Tyrice Knight. Cody Lindenberg is a violent, downhill prospect with a decisive trigger. Lindenberg navigates traffic and makes plays in the backfield.
