A four-year starter at left tackle at West Virginia that didn’t allow a sack in the final three seasons, Milum has an odd body type that makes him a tougher NFL projection. He’s got a very long torso and short arms and legs for his 6-foot-7, 315-pound frame. During Senior Bowl week, the intensely competitive Milum looked impressive playing left guard and even a handful of center reps.
If he’s still on the board for Houston’s second-round selection, Milum’s excellent pass protection skills and tenacity make him a natural plug-and-play starter somewhere along the Texans’ needy front.
