Season in Review

The Ravens’ defensive line thrived in 2024. Baltimore’s rush defense led the league in both top categories, allowing just 80.1 yards per game and 3.6 yards per rush.

After signing a four-year contract extension last offseason, Madubuike responded with another Pro Bowl campaign. Though his sacks dropped from 13 to 6.5, Madubuike was still disruptive as a pass rusher and run stopper.

After dedicating himself to getting even stronger and faster last offseason, Jones became a starter and emerged as one of the toughest players to block at his position, despite playing through a midseason ankle injury. His ascension is one of the biggest takeaways from the defensive line’s season.

Washington was again a key part of the rotation, and the veteran “Fun Bunch” combination of Pierce and Urban continued to play at a high level. Pierce’s Week 18 interception was one of the season’s top moments.
