Reid and Louis Continue to Garner National Recognition in Latest Poll

CSN Top 100 Returning College Football Players for 2025

PITTSBURGH—RB Desmond Reid and LB Kyle Louis were each named to College Sports Network’s Top 100 Returning College Football Players for 2025, adding to their growing list of accolades this offseason.

Reid, who is No. 80 on the list, is described by CSN as “the definition of an all-purpose running back in the 2025 college football dictionary.” The Miami Gardens, Fla. (Miramar) native was one of the country’s most impactful all-around players last season, finishing with 966 rushing yards, 579 receiving yards and 159 punt return yards with 10 total touchdowns. He scored touchdowns three ways (four rushing, five receiving and one on a punt return) and averaged 154.9 all-purpose yards per game, the most among all returning FBS players.

Louis, who cracked the top 50 at No. 47, was CSN’s ACC Linebacker of the Year in 2024 as just a redshirt sophomore. A product of East Orange, N.J. (East Orange Campus), just three linebackers ranked ahead of Louis on the list, as well as just three defensive players from the ACC. His All-America campaign in 2024 saw him register 105 tackles, four interceptions, a forced fumble, 15.5 tackles for loss, 7.0 sacks, 27 pressures and nine QB hurries.

The Panthers will host seven games this fall, including four conference opponents and last year’s CFP runner-up, Notre Dame, on Nov. 15.

Pitt football season tickets start as low as $230 for seven games in 2025. For more information, go to PittsburghPanthers.com, call (800) 643-7488 or email tickets@athletics.pitt.edu.
