New Orleans Saints wide receiver Bub Means stopped by and chatted about his rookie year and moving into his next season on the Saints Podcast on radio row Thursday, Feb. 6 ahead of Super Bowl LIX.
The fifth-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft was limited to seven games due to injury and had nine receptions for 118 yards and a touchdown in his rookie season. Despite the health setbacks Means said everything happens for a reason and he appreciated everything.
“I enjoyed my rookie season,” he said. “I enjoyed it so much. I’ve learned so much. I grew as a player, as a young man. And I can’t wait to show y’all what I got next year.”
Means said he said he expects to be working out throughout the offseason.
“I’m one of those get-to-work type guys,” he said. “I don’t even try to go out too much, try to go on too many vacations. I like working, I like working out. I like getting better at what I do.”
