Jets Release WR Davante Adams

The Jets have released WR Davante Adams.

Adams (6-1, 215), acquired from the Raiders last October for a 2025 third-round draft pick, registered 67 receptions, 854 receiving yards (12.7 yds/rec) and 7 TDs in 11 games with the Green & White. Prior to the trade, Adams lined up in three games with Las Vegas and had 18 catches, 209 yards receiving (11.6 yds/rec) and 1 TD.

A six-time Pro Bowler, Adams, who will turn 33 on Christmas Eve, became the 12th player in NFL history to reach 100 TDs, which happened in the Jets’ 32-25 win over the Jaguars on Dec. 15. Adams had 9 receptions in the triumph for 198 yards and 2 TDs along with a 2-point conversion.

Over his 11 NFL seasons, Adams has totaled 957 receptions, 11,844 receiving yard and his 103 TDs are 10th in league history.
