The Defenders have added a young prospect at wide out, one who will fit right in with some of the veterans in that room. Javon Antonio has signed with DC, the former Colorado product who now has an opportunity to prove himself at the professional level.
Antonio began his college career at Hinds CC, posting 621 receiving yards and four touchdowns across two seasons there. In 2020, he transferred to Northwestern State, and burst onto the scene with 521 yards in just five games of action. He missed most of the 2021 season, but returned in 2022 posting 684 yards and six scores.
This led to Javon transferring to Colorado for his final season of eligibility. He played for Deion Sanders’ Buffs, starting in eight of 10 games, recording 209 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

C Charles Turner
DC has also signed C Charles Turner, out of LSU.
