Houston Texans fans had questions about the Nick Chubb addition, training camp tickets and more. Drew Dougherty of Texans TV answered those questions.

Jimmy Perales: Dear Drew, I’m from San Antonio, and would like to know the schedule for training camp. I would like to put in vacation days to get out there and check it out.
DD: That’s awesome, Jimmy. The Texans will likely release that camp schedule by the end of June. Make sure you’re following us on social media and checking the mobile app and HoustonTexans.com regularly for the info.

Andrew Fox: Dear Drew, What are your thoughts on Will Anderson, Jr. being the Defensive Player of the Year in this coming season?
DD: It’s certainly possible. For it to happen, he would likely need more than 16 or 17 sacks, and would also probably need to score a few times off takeaways. He’s certainliy capable of doing those things.
You also need to remember cornerback Derek Stingley, Jr. and defensive end Danielle Hunter as well. The former was an All-Pro and finished with five picks, while the latter led the team with 12 sacks and 17 tackles for loss.
Anderson rang up 11 sacks and was disruptive in the 14 games he played last regular season. They are also capable of turning in Defensive Player of the Year-worthy seasons.
Ultimately, it’s extremely encouraging to have three legitimate candidates for that award on one defense.

Dana Rossovich: Dear Drew, When minicamp ends, are the players not allowed back in the building until the start of training camp?
DD: No, they can come in any time. There just aren’t any organized team practices or meetings in that late June/early-mid July period. Many players will come by for workouts and/or treatments in that time. Many will also use the month to relax and reset for the grind to come between late July and February.
