Two UFL TE’s Land At Tight End University

The UFL is all about providing opportunities to its athletes and players, which is what it continues to do even in the offseason. Two of their tight ends, Ben Bresnahan and Jalen Wydermyer, will be participating in Tight End University this week.

Per an official press release from the UFL, Tight End University is described as:

“Tight End University, which was founded by Travis Kelce, George Kittle and Greg Olsen in 2021, is hosting its fifth exclusive tight end summit. A total of 72 tight ends are participating in the events during the immersive three-day program, which brings players at the position together in order to collaborate, learn and help each other before the upcoming NFL season.”

Jalen Wydermyer represents the Michigan Panthers, having spent the 2025 UFL season with the team. Wydermyer had a productive year despite a low snap count, with five receptions for 63 yards and a touchdown.

Panthers GM Steve Kazor had this to say about Jalen’s appearance at TE University:

“We signed him [Jalen] because we think he has the ability to play at the next level, he just might need a bit more opportunity our league can provide to showcase his talents. He can run, catch and block at a very high level and showed glimpses of that for us this season.”

In addition to Jalen, DC Defenders TE Ben Bresnahan is also headed to the event. Bresnahan was utilized quite a bit by DC this season, taking 245 offensive snaps. Ben blocked on 120 of those snaps, with positive 63.7/68.3 Run Block/Pass Block grades.

Bresnahan was also utilized more often as a route runner this season, compared to 2024. He totaled 11 receptions for 170 yards and a touchdown – including a ridiculous one handed…
