DC Defenders WR Seth Williams Signs With Las Vegas Raiders

XFL Team Names and Logos Set to be Revealed Oct 31

The Champions of the UFL are making more waves in the NFL. DC Defenders WR Seth Williams is signing with Las Vegas Raiders, following his short campaign in the UFL with DC.

Seth Williams joined DC midway through the UFL season, providing some depth due to an injury to Ty Scott and movement in that room.

He ended up recording 11 receptions for 170 yards and two touchdowns across four games, making a legitimate impact in the playoffs. After two drops in his first active game, Seth was a reliable target for Jordan Ta’amu – with over 100 of those yards coming in the postseason.

Williams is no stranger to the NFL. After declaring for the 2021 NFL draft as a junior, Williams was selected in the sixth round by the Denver Broncos. He had one catch for 34 yards in a loss to the Chargers that year, but was waived by the team in 2022.

Seth Williams has been on various practice squads the last few seasons – and was most recently waived by the Dallas Cowboys in May. He played all of his college ball at Auburn.

Williams is the second DC Defenders player to sign with an NFL team, as OT Yasir Durant signed with the Patriots in June. You can stay up to date on all UFL to NFL signings with our official tracker.
