Vanderbilt Football | Baker’s Dozen on Bowl Game Watch List

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — A total of 13 members of the Vanderbilt football program were named to the Shrine Bowl 1000 Watch List it was revealed on Monday.

The group includes preseason first-team All-America selection Eli Stowers as well as Diego Pavia, who was named to the Maxwell Award Watch List earlier in the day and is a candidate for national player of the year. Sedrick Alexander was the other returning letterwinner from the Commodore offense named to the Shrine Bowl list, while returners from the Vandy defense who were recognized include Miles Capers, Randon Fontenette, Martel Hight, Bryan Longwell, Yilanan Ouattara, Khordae Sydnor and Linus Zunk.

The list also featured a trio of newcomers—Bryce Henderson, Sterling Porcher and Jordan White—on the Dore offensive line.

The East-West Shrine Bowl will be played at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, on Jan. 27, 2026. Individuals invited to participate in the contest will have access to NFL-level resources and will be led by coaches from the league.
