Seventh-year veteran and free agent acquisition S Nik Needham nearly had his first interception of camp during 11-on-11 if not for the ball going off his fingers. Ward made two good plays on the ball in 11-on-11 on Day 7. On the first, he was able to deflect a pass that was on its way to an open Johnson. On the second play, he swatted a ball out of the air that was intended for TE Harold Fannin Jr.
Fannin showcased his skills, turning a checkdown from Gabriel into a play that moved the offense to the seven-yard line. In the same drill for Gabriel, he passed it to Larvadain, who shook off the tackle and ran into the end zone for a touchdown, the first of the drill for the offense.
The entire offense on the field and the pass catchers on the sidelines made their way to the end zone to tap Larvadain on the helmet, screaming ‘Let’s go’ following the play.
Gabriel showed off his arm on a deep pass to Davis that got the offense all the way down inside the 10-yard line. Davis again had a good play on a rollout to the right by Flacco, sliding on the grass to make the catch.
Sanders made good judgment plays during 11-on-11, seeing the gap created by the offensive line on a pass play, taking it for free yards while the receivers were locked up. A few plays later, he had a long pass to WR Kisean Johnson in a play that wound up at the 11-yard line.
